So true and as you know I have stressed this in my writings on Medium. Without our health all our possessions, power, our life becomes meaningless. Health has to be given priority over all else. Enjoy the day as it comes to you who knows what the next day will be like? Live in the present mindfully.
I am past 80, and as an engineer- physicist I have worked in related jobs, but never forgot how much being healthy is the number 1 issue for everyone.
My dear wife was first a nurse, then made it to the Medical School and became a marvellous doctor. The patients called her The Smiling Doctor.
She brought smile on the face of her patients, held their hands, and on top of her professional knowledge, she healed them by radiating love and encouragement.
Unfortunately she contracted Myelo Displasia, and after eight years she passed away three years ago.
I decided to keep and manage her private practice, and later today I will negotiate a public procurement call to offer occupational health service to our local public schools.
Keeping the teachers and other school personnel healthy is a noble task, and my colleagues are top professionals to do it.
Your life story and dedication this early morning helps me to be successful today to make a small step in serving our teachers here in Rákosliget, the Eastern most district of Budapest.
To me, you are still young, carry on your noble profession with the dedication you have so beautifully described!
Thank you so much Zsolt for sharing your story about you and your late wife. She sounds like a wonderful person. Smiles are very healing and kind. I appreciate all of your kind words and support. I will try my best to continue to help and support others.
Most humans don't think of their health until death threatens their lives.
My mother smoked and two of my sisters picked up her dangerous habit.
Pain forces me to put my health at the top of the list,
I believe that staying connected to nature and spending time in nature has amazing healing elements for humanity. I am jumping ahead.
I must agree. But poverty plays a big role in many humans staying healthy.
Our health is our most valuable asset.

Gabriella,
I was touched by the sincere simplicity of your testimony, and felt urged to react.
